HRV – HEART RATE VARIABILITY
HEART RATE VARIABILITY
Heart Rate Variability measured by NeuroField Neurotherapy equipment is a method of muscle testing the client’s heart. Using our HRV procedure, we first determine the natural variability of your heart beat and then, using stimulation technology, we pass subtle electro-magnetic frequencies in your body to determine the frequency your brain or body desires, based upon a yes response from your heart.
The analysis of heart rate variability (HRV), or heart rhythms, is a noninvasive means of measuring heart–brain and autonomic nervous system dynamics as influenced by one’s emotional state. Clinical research indicates HRV as a primary indicator of neurocardiac fitness and overall health. Abnormally low HRV is a predictor of premature mortality and is associated with a wide range of health problems, many of which can be stress-related. By influencing shifts in heart rhythms, one can positively lower stress levels, and thereby influence neural, hormonal and biochemical responses, yielding improvements in blood pressure, immune system function and so on. Effects may be both immediate and long-lasting.
Seeing small delta and theta waves in the waking, eyes open EEG is normal. However, excessive or large (high amplitude) delta and theta waves often signify neurological or developmental problems.Alpha will attenuate, or “block,” when we become mentally occupied. The brain will then begin to generate “beta” waves, ranging from 16-35 Hz.
The speed of your alpha brainwaves is your dominant or “peak” frequency. It is like the shutter speed of a camera. The faster your alpha peak frequency, the faster you are processing data and the more data you can, therefore, take in.
If Alpha brainwaves are high amplitude (big on they axis) the individual is often in a trace or an inattentive, daydreamy state. High amplitude alpha may mean that the individual uses a lot of THC, or may have attentional difficulties.
